I was told the same thing on a review. Told me I should send a return to one of the staff. Implying I should do that. So I sent him a screenshot of everyones workload. Showing everyone had over 150 hours of billable time in their queue list, I had only 100, and asked him what one should I send the work to.

Do you have an offshore team you could have utilized?
My team only has temporary staff rotators….whose schedules are full with items from the ranks above me. I’m expected to do the same thing lol
Are you the highest ranked senior that needs promoted? Maybe they are trying to get you to give work to a first year senior so you can move up.
Consider leveraging staff at our GDS.
Dallas is the same way. We have so many more seniors than staff rn. I’ve never seen seniors prepare so many wps in my life.
Get a staff from another office or offshore team
You don’t have to only work with the staff in your office. You can reach out to resource management and ask for help. There are numerous of under utilized staff around the firm. You just need to tap into the resources. GDS is another option.
