I've yet to see finger tattoos that don't look trashy. Maybe if you can design something tasteful
I have a full sleeve, half sleeve, and a bunch of other ones all over and I keep them 95% hidden at work. I rolled up my sleeves the other day and noticed eyes darting straight to my exposed arm, which immediately makes me insecure. I’m a female in the south and I am constantly surprised by the amount of people, even younger generation, that are grossed out and put off by them, so much that I won’t ever get anything as visible as on my hands. I’ve also had people say shit to me when I was staff at smaller firms, which is frustrating and hard to shake off still. I’d suggest not doing it because I’d hate to have my career impacted by it, but I also selfishly think you should because I would love the industry to stop being so uptight about it, plus, fuck em.

I’m a female in the south too and I have a sleeve. I don’t feel like I get the stares at Pwc like I do at like…. Whole Foods haha don’t get discouraged.
I have 30+ tats and come to work daily.
Ey8 i get the form of representation comment. It has no impact on who you are or your work so it shouldn't matter at all. And yet corporate America is a little slow to fully accept and embrace those with a lot of tattoos
Prob keeps some people out of white collar jobs.
Only if it matches the face tat
if you have to ask or ponder about a particular professional attire/appearance, the answer is: no you shouldnt do it
they fade horribly and quickly and hurt like hell
My fiance is an HVAC tech/engineer that has done a lot of field work. His finger tattoos are super faded and whenever he gets a cut on his fingers they take longer to heal.

You should do it. There are some great tattoo-specific concealers that will completely cover them if a client has an issue. Tattoos are not indicators of job performance.
Yeah don’t listen to this guy, we’re accountants not management consultants and I’d be much more worried about what my partner thought rather than what the client thought (who my partner has already decided to send me to engage)
Much better than a tramp stamp. (And yes, I have seen at least two stamps peeking out in the last 5 years or so). #PwC_Ink!
Yes seemed like a good idea…

Depends on what you want. I think the little dots behind the fingernails can be cute, or a tattooed ring is fine but “thug life” across your knuckles might raise some eyebrows.
I am quoting what my coach and director told me when I asked before I got a sleeve tattoo: "PwC is inclusive environment so having tattoo won't penalize you nor anyone can comment on it in bad way"
I have one on my wrist and it’s visible 80% of the time when I’m in office. I am on the leadership team (and was promoted after I got it). It’s fine.
If they aren’t prison looking tattoos on your knuckles/fingers like they’re joking above then do it. I have a wrist tattoo which isn’t far off and so does the audit partner on my client! Never has even come up in conversation honestly. Just be good at your job and dress professionally and no one will give a rats a** about a couple finger tattoos!

Where on the finger? Top I would say no. Inside I would say is fair game.
Mine are all on the tops of my fingers. I’m a Senior Manager.
Yes totally
Worked for these guys
I think they can look cool depending on what you get, but I think some firms or clients will not approve and it could hold you back. Personally I wouldn’t do it.
I had one and no one said anything
Also mine still looks good for getting it over 5 years ago so some people are just stating things they’ve read online. You can still have a nice finger tat after a couple of years
I’ve seen some that are okay.
I have one and I wear a ring that covers it most days I go into the office. No one has ever made a comment or anything. I would just say have a way to cover it if you have any client meetings or anything
Do it! It would show people you’re not an absolute square like most ppl commenting on this
