Financial Advisors

Opinion: work with a firm as an independent, self employed financial advisor. On a draw right now ends soon, not nearly enough AUM to sustain. Got offer from insurance agency that will pay salary +

What would you do? Start in the $60k mark with lots of room for growth.

How long have you been on the draw? If you start from scratch with no help it can take 3 years to be profitable. With help or a team you should make it sooner. Maybe you are not cut out for independence. No shame in that. Plenty of people can give good advice but don't market well. If you can't make your goal to be sustainable, move. If you can make your AUM goal in a reasonable time, stay.

If anyone wants to join a boutique HR & Talent Advisory consulting firm, Kincentric is hiring for an Associate Partner role! Location doesn’t really matter, but preferably in IL, NY, or ATL.
