Our hospital just updated our EMR system, and it now takes five extra clicks to do something that used to take one. It feels like these systems are designed by people who have never actually stood at a bedside or seen a patient. Am I the only one who feels like technology is making us less efficient every year?

Is it just me or do 90% of the jobs being laid off by big tech sound made up? Many job descriptions with multiple bullet points that all kinda revolve around the same idea. One of my buddies works for a big IT company and literally just sits on meetings all day. No one really contributing to anything other than agreeing to whatever the speaker is saying. Are these kind of jobs finally being exposed? Six figure employees getting paid to sit and bounce ideas off each other?

Sorry if this has been asked ad nauseum around here, but can anyone recommend a really good (yet easy and basic) skincare routine? Specific products/brands would be really helpful.

What should a coder/biller/transcriptionist make with over 15 years of experience? I am currently the only person in the office that can do those jobs with no backup. Our employee satisfaction survey is tied to our performance goals. Meaning, if we rate management badly, we cannot meet 10% of our goals which in turn affects our bonuses and raises.
