Parental leave question. In the US, assuming full pay, what are the birthing and non-birthing parent leave durations for McKinsey, Bain, BCG, and others?

Really in two minds about having kids. Never felt maternal in my life and my freedom and own time are important to me. At the same time, I’m worried I would regret the choice to skip motherhood - that I’m overthinking and maternal instincts would kick in naturally. Has anyone been here before? How did you make the choice (if you had the privilege of choice of course).

Our baby is due soon so we’ve made the decision that we will only have visits from vaccinated family members (not realizing it would be an issue) only to find out that my Dad will never be getting vaccinated, planned to lie about it AND asked other family members lie to us about his vaccination status too… when we found out and asked him about it, he started to FREAK out. Now I’m questioning if we’re being unreasonable… how have you guys been handling unvaccinated people meeting your newborns??

My parents are coming to visit for the first time since baby was born. We also have a toddler at home. Baby is 1 month old. They’ve each had the first vaccine a few days ago, so not fully vaccinated. They go to work which involves lots of strangers. Them to get tested before coming he said they will be with us for a full week. They are not, because face say that Hass should be reserved for those with symptoms. And the free tests are only for those with symptoms. This is so stressful and I feel so caught between my parents and my husband.
