Buy side - fixed income asset management would probably be the best fit given your background.

I’m considering an opportunity to work in house at a large private equity shop. Does anyone ever question the possibility of going to law school?

I’m a 23yo female legal assistant working/living in Canada. I am completing my BA in hopes of continuing with law school after. I’ve always wanted to go to law school since age 14. But I also want a husband/kids. I don’t feel like I can have both.

Any advice on how to leverage current interviews for more? I’m deep into a process at one firm but would like a couple more irons in the fire.

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? TIA!

Should I specialize in Blockchain or AI? I’m a freshman in a CS degree and I can’t decide. Regarding AI, I find this field fascinating but I feel like it requires a lot of experience, degrees and diplomas.
