People are getting fired but nobody will give the full story. Do people really think there’s no justification? It just feels like there’s a shorter leash for performance.

MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? I got an offer at Nokia, and my new manager said that she wanted to put me in the higher salary bracket however the HR insisted that we lowered the range.
