I am not getting any response on my posts..I'm feeling depressed due to my bad luck. I have only 1 month noticeperiod left & had only 1 offer in hand with 40CTC. Right now my current salary is too low which is 27LPA with 14 yrs of exp and working as Data scientist. I am getting very few interview calls. Not able to decide whether to join that 40CTC or need to withdraw my resignation. The problem with current offer is job in another location with 3mnts wfh option.

I accepted a FADP offer but I have lifelong crippling anxiety It leads to (TMI) diarrhea, I can’t sleep at night, among a lot of other issues. I see a therapist and have their support in school accom. I appear high functioning and ever since uni went remote my life and performance has only improved. I know I’m capable of getting the work done and they must see potential if they hired me. But I feel that if I ask for WFH or other accom. I’m gonna be shooting myself and my career in the foot.

I’m white, married for a decade. The difference between me and my spouse on current events might be the demise of our marriage. Spouse agrees that George Floyd’s death was murder, but is fighting me about financially supporting marginalized people to bring change. I’m really trying to hear my partner’s point of view and keep an open mind, but they actually think black people simply commit more crime and want to live off government subsidy. In college/grad school I always had a meal plan which made it super easy to get food. Then right after grad school I went right into consulting which I’ve always expensed meals or eaten out.

Now being at home, I have to adult by finding and making food myself - this sucks! 🤣😫

One silver lining in all this is, in my case is being able to watch my daughter grow while wfh. It's amazing how in the first year of life so much happens that I for sure would of missed out.

I’ve gained about 10 lbs these last 5 weeks and now my punishment will be losing 20 lbs in 3 weeks

I work 2 part-time jobs. I just requested a pay raise at my ABA job which they approved on by 10%. My other job is in Mental Health has a flat rate with no chance to request a raise, turns out I'm not required to work the full 20hrs/Week meaning that when there's no work to complete I won't be getting paid. I've only been here 8months & want to leave as I need the money. Should I start looking elsewhere even if I haven't been here for a year?
