New to the U.S., is the Healthcare Industry (via HIPAA), the only industry in the U.S. that legally mandates having a designated Privacy Officer? So for example, although GLBA has obvious privacy requirements, unlike with healthcare, financial institutions in the U.S. are not mandated by law to have a designated Privacy Officer?

Please explain if we get internet reimbursement outside the CTC?? Not the tax exemption part . I have heard we get 1200 per month for internet . Is it true ?

I recently did a job interview and I made it clear to the HR my expectation salary is 60k a year, non negotiable.
Today I got the job offer and they are offering me 54k. My current company is making me 50k with tons of benefits which is why I am asking for 60k.

Should I accept the offer or renegotiate?

- Industry: tech
- Role: finance manager
- YOE: 5 years
- Comp: 270k aed/year + 5% bonus
- Other benefits: work from Europe/US 1 month/year, 30 vacation days

Is it too much to ask a home health company for someone to shadow/orient? I was just hired PRN and that was something I asked for during the hiring process and the recruiter agreed. Hi, what’s the premium processing cost for I-140? I have more than 2 years left on my H1 so PwC is not filing for my premium processing but said I could pay for it out of pocket. Everywhere online I see the cost of premium processing as 2500$ however PwC asked me to pay for 3500$. Could this include any additional charge? Does anybody have any insights? Thanks
