From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.

Btw, I have been interviewed for 6 rounds in Citrix and waiting to hear from them.

Looking to do a solo trip for about a week somewhere that’s driving distance from San Francisco (anything within ~10 hours) this July/August. Looking for some good hiking and food. Last year I did Bend and it was great!

Read that McK is paying 2K higher than BCG this year which means BCG will probably raise again next year to at least match. However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow. I’m an in-house designer. My company decided to offer social media marketing packages to our clients. Today they asked me to take full ownership of that outside social media marketing on top of my current job duties.

I expressed a need for a promotion or raise to compensate for the major increase in responsibility, a responsibility that is not currently in my description.

I am on 5 projects right now all due within the next week-3 weeks. I feel like I’m drowning and might quit if I reach a breaking point, what should I do? Only work on the projects worth a shit? Blow off first round check ins to work on stuff that’s due?
