Manager sounds right, just make sure it’s for M2 or M3
SA is the post-MBA position. M is the first promotion (2-3 years after joining as stated above)
It all depends on how much you can convince them that you can manage engagement in your field of expertise. Merely having 8-9 yrs of experience does not guarantee you a manager title. To answer your question- SC at Deloitte equals to SA in PwC in normal situation.
And here I thought our flat structure was over rated. Does the title chase ever stress you out?
Associate (1 year), experienced associate (1-2 years, 1 would be special exception and only some groups allow), senior associate (2-3, again assume 3), manager (2-3), senior manager (2-3)...after that I’m not sure the time in role but it goes to director then partner. So the question is how many years of experience do you have?
8.5
More likely than not you will come in at a lower title or same.
Oh thanks A1. At D we don’t have M1/M2/M3. Is this something one can negotiate for PwC?
PwC1: Damn. if I come in at Manager, you are saying that is lower than my current SC at D title?
Where’d you wind up on this OP? I’m in the same boat. Hoping to get to M. Don’t want to leave for a lateral.
