Pwc cyber folks - Salary range for cyber SM and D? Tia!

I've been working for 6 months as a recruiting temp. My original contract was dec-march. Then we mutually extended it when I had another offer for March. They then offered me full-time but I was interested in another role in another department. They agreed and I'm going to be working the 'temp to hire' role in the new department.

Am I allowed to ask for a new hourly rate for this 'new' role? I took the original rate due to covid necessity but would have asked for more if it was temp-to-hire.

How do you deal with clients that have zero knowledge of cyber? They work on info sec teams, but don’t really know basic security concepts. Explaining things takes longer than actually accomplishing the work.
