i have an offer of X amount from jp morgan and x+ 3.5L from Mphasis, my joining is within a week, I asked counter offer from HR, she said we will look if there is any backup candidate to fill that position then we will not do counter and it will impact my DOJ also since offer approval process takes around 2 weeks. should i wait or should i join on my current doj. and also if i will wait will they give me another doj on my current compenstion or they will revoke the offer past doj?

I have about 1.5 years of progressive digital marketing experience, and prior to this, about 2 years of people management experience in a different industry. I’ve been offered a middle management position with company I’m currently at that requires me to manage 4 others below me, but is only offering a $5k salary increase - to $65k. Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues.
