And the firm only values an MBA, I've never heard of someone with a different master's degree getting placed on the MBA pay scale.

*Managing Director* - Not a required level, an alternative to Partner

Probably just an SA1, entry level associate. Pay would be around $95K without an MBA (depends on geography).

Correction related to MBA - they only value top targeted MBA programs. Most are ignored.

Lol. In my current firm, there are consultants with 20 plus years in the same level as me and the compensation is wide ranging as well
