Question: anyone here have Monitor Deloitte hookups in Healthcare?

I’m getting back into the design game after taking a break. I left a very toxic work environment that deeply effected my mental and physical health and took a very different job to have a change of pace and do something different. But I miss doing graphic design and creative work. Any advice with getting back into the field after being out of the game for 6 months?

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

Any thoughts on large companies vs boutique firms? Have offers from Accenture Strategy and The Chartis Group but am having trouble making the final decision. Interested in healthcare consulting but not sure if I want to commit at this point.

I’m a certified Health Coach (my training/courses are CCE-accredited by the International Coach Federation) w/ a BS in Psychology. I got a temp to hire starting at $18/hr. It is my first professional health coach job & they did not require temps to have a coaching certification, but I have one. I’d like to know if temps could negotiate salary when given the job offer. Anyone have advice for advancing in your current role? My co-worker was hired in at manager level but somehow “proved” he was actually doing director level work and got a title promotion and salary increase in less than a year. I also went above and beyond my job as well (covering for him for a month while he was away on paternity leave) while taking on other projects outside of my job title and got zip—no raise or recognition. Anyone else having trouble finding free fraud based CPE trainings? My job does not pay for these things so I wasnt sure if anyone else had a solution or source. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?
