Gold, maybe
The best way to invest, as always, is where there is opportunity. And that can be found in any number of places. If you're debating real estate vs tech I'm not sure it's a one or the other scenario. Both have advantages, and bears will tell you either one is due for a major correction. Perhaps investing in both, assuming they'll be something of a hedge against each other, is a reasonable scenario.
The one you know most about. I stay away from real estate because I don't feel confident in my knowledge of the subject. I'm not big on tech right now either for that matter, but if I was forced to choose between the two, that's where I'd put my money.
The best way to invest is where there is most room for value to be added. I would hesitate on real estate because people are not having as many kids nowadays and that will affect the demand in the future. Exactly how far in the future requires some more research that you should do. As far as tech, there seems to be a lot of circular investing where NVIDIA gives money to a customer and the customer turns around to buy more NVDIA products. Inflating the value of both companies. How long can it continue? That is the trillion dollar question.
If someone had the right answer, they wouldn’t post online, they would go to a bank, get a loan and make that bet. Do what you understand better. If you understand the tech space (better than the large hedge funds) go make some bets. I’ll take it if you are asking this question, the answer is you dont. For long window, S&P 500 is probably the play or real estate if you understand the market (or are willing to put in the time/effort to learn it)
