I was in Deloitte for 4 years. Generally, quite stressful and there is some kind of brownie points for being rude to junior team members. Never understood why is it hard to just be nice to a fellow colleague.
EY people are much nicer on the surface, but there are enough cliques to get trapped in. However, overall stress level is lower. A big reason is how one is treated by the boss and two there aren't as much crazy push to contribute to multiple initiatives outside of client work. It is required, but expectations are more sane
At KPMG it really depends where you work, but having been at EY for 2.5 years and PwC off and on on a subcontract basis, I can tell you KPMG is truly the kinder gentler of the BIG4 and makes an effort to be the company they portray in the marketing and rah rah videos.
Between D and PwC, I found PwC better in terms of growth and team support. More down to earth.
