Russia is looking pretty good too

Don’t travel.. if you go to a place where the situation is better, you’re only risking bringing the infection there.

I would not travel internationally. Even if you think you’re fine and not worried about getting Covid other countries could close borders on a whim. Happened to several friends who were traveling for spring break and it was a financial and logistical nightmare.

Do you all think travel to Europe will be feasible by Christmas?

like

a lot of countries have closed their borders until fall and international flights continue getting cancelled. i would avoid international travel for 2020 :(

Traveling internationally by July - 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that’s funny . Good luck! Let us know how it goes !

Lots of 4th of July celebrations are cancelled in the NE, so if you are looking for the fireworks and big gatherings, look elsewhere!

Yeah, hoping to travel internationally

Should I quit to my current manager(5th so far) or wait after mid year performance review, when a new boss will take over my team? I'm thinking on giving them 2 months notice period. By contract is 1.

Thanks

Hi everyone! First time using this app. I always wondered, how are other IT help desk jobs? I’ll share how mine is.
I work at an MSP (Managed Service Provider) meaning we are the IT services for many other companies. It’s busy all the time and I get to experience all different types of apps, OSes, and almost every aspect of IT in this way. I make around 50k which is alright but its hectic as there’s too many tickets and not enough personnel. I heard this is common but I’m not sure.

Saw my therapist this past Friday and he gave me a useful trick to build better behavior patterns. Whenever you have work to do but would rather nap or something, tell yourself 3 negative effects of the nap and 3 positive effects of doing the work. You might still take the nap, but if you can get in the habit of thinking of it negatively, you'll take less naps when you need to be doing other things.

Doesn't matter what the activities are. Could be working out vs eating more, could be socializing IRL vs wasting time in FB (lol)

Anyone else heard of this/tried it?
