Does Natwest bank pay as competitive as Morgan Stanley Deutsche Bank. I mean Associate in MS and DB ranges from 20 to 30 lakh. However when I tried applying to Natwest expecting 40% hike (30 lpa) on current pay of 21 lakh. They straightway rejected me and said its not in their budget. Is there any financial firm which can pay as competitive to Mumbai banks. Barclays Deutsche Bank Natwest group BlackRock
PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.
In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?

It’ll always be good, very dangerous with a CPA and JD in m&a tax.

No reason to get a JD if you just want to do m&a tax lol. Huge waste.

No one gives a shit if you have a cpa if you are a JD generally (coming from a JD with an accounting background who knows a few JD CPAs).
go to big law and make 200k right out of law school.
You should go to law school if you want to practice law. Maybe you always wanted to become a prosecutor, public defender, whatever… If you’re thinking about utilizing your CPA post JD, the ROI may not be worth it. (I’m a JD/CPA)
This is my struggle. The market for CPA JDs is very good, but tax isn’t likely to make you a super rainmaker. So it’s then a question of ROI. I haven’t been able to find an answer on this point.
