Hoping to get in touch with #Peraton recruiter! I have about 9 months left in Air Force where I work in cyber defense and vulnerability management, have a BA in cybersecurity, sitting for CISSP and have lots of certs. Would love to chat with someone about opportunities. Hold a clearance and could technically start in 7 months. Any help is appreciated!! Thank you.
I’m new here. Can I please get some likes 😩

It usually doesn’t take long for a warning to result in a termination.
The first warning is usually the last warning.
Going on what you’ve written, it seems like you need to take a break and focus on healing and consulting more with your therapist.
If you have break time saved up, take a week off.
A refresh button moment is a good remedy to accumulated workplace stress.
I wont but i also wont need a therapist if my job wasnt stressing me out and making me sick with headaches and the sweats
If you truly feel overwhelmed, Human Resources is supposed to accommodate you for mental health wellbeing. Talk to the head H.R. person, request time off for the purpose of your wellbeing. That cannot be denied. Especially when you have the proof of a therapist’s credentials to provide.
It’s important to prioritize your health first.
Assuming you’re a fed and not probationary, I believe the earliest you could be terminated for performance is 30 days after being formally placed on a PIP.
That said, what was the content of the verbal warning you received?
Depending on your government level (city, state, county, federal) there are options, even term people depending on how long you’ve been there. You might want to read the benefits package and see if you qualify for FMLA, or some other protected leave. I’ve seen a verbal reprimand going to the a written one, and including a performance improvement plan (PIP), then dismissal, but some areas can just get terminated. However, they should give you measurable items to improve, nothing like “do better”, more like “answer 85% calls that are assigned in a day” . It’s thought, good luck
Same thing happened to me 7 years ago. No warning, told to resign or we'll fire you. I was devastated, never happened to me. The place was a toxic workplace. Got a new job, love it. I'm treated as an equal and definitely part of the team. It's the best thing that could've happened to me. So take it as lesson learned, be strong and move on.
