Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

It’s not location, it’s expectations. $275k is a lot of money. Despite what you read on FB there aren’t many industry jobs that pay that much, especially if you’re looking to improve WLB at the same time.
Just here to say I’m having the exact same issue, 5yoe, current TC 210k, and even in NYC finding it tough to get offers with higher pay.
YOE probably. That’s really good comp for 5 YOE not at MBB or T2. Assuming you’re M level?
Brought an outside offer once to Accenture when I was C and they just slightly beat it to retain me
Are you applying for individual contributor roles or roles with management responsibilities? I think that can make a difference too.
Saying most industries since I get there are outliers before someone jumps in with JUST GO FAAANG PE

Youre not priced out. You just need to diversify your skillsets to match the market.
Everyone wants “data science” when in reality that just means someone who can run a python script and wrangle data. It’s all analytics in the end, but the market doesn’t know that.
I know many Data Analytics Managers in DC with your YoE making more; including myself
