It's a tarp!
I'm going to say go with your gut on this one. This sounds fishy (no pun intended 🐟) to me.
Gaming industry is notoriously meat grinding. '. . . wouldn't put in the hours' probably means the last person actually required sleep.
Hours. Seems like a cool opportunity, but the team is all very junior (less than 2 years out of college) and feel like it could be a trap. Anyone had similar experience that can provide input?
Unless you hate your job I would advise against it. The person leaving because of 'hours' already sounds fishy. Plus you can make that in Consulting in a couple of years.

The game development industry in general gets away with paying shit money for long hours because people want to make awesome games so they put up with it. I guess in some ways that makes consulting experience directly relevant...
Admiral Akbar says that it's a trap - run!
Last one of those I followed through on when the offer from HR came it was ~20k under the recruiters salary range and below what I said I'd ever bother leaving my job for. Long story short be smart and go with your gut here; granted it doesn't hurt to take interview.
I would give it a shot. You can always come back to consulting.
