Recruiting pitch! Recently left EY (I was so unhappy) for a smaller firm that really emphasizes WLB. Salary is decent, benefits are great, hours are reasonable, and the people are awesome (most are ex big 4 but with none of the attitude). We also get overtime pay if you happen to work more than 40 hours (!!) We have a ton of needs (seniors and up) right now so pls DM me if you enjoy the work you do but hate the hours/stress/lack of balance/independence requirements 🤗

Is it worth making the time/money investment to make the switch from big 4 FDD to MBB. This would require getting into and paying for a top MBA program and my net worth would be way negative after that. Are the MBB financial returns worth it? Im 26 years old for reference

A CRO offerred me an internal consulting/biz dev role. They offered 145k TC (20% bump) and slightly better benefits. They also offered accelerated path (6mo to 1yr) to MC. While promotion to MC at my current company is at least 1 year away. The job is interesting to me and fits my careery goal. But my big concern is that I've only been with my current company for a year (this is my first job, post PhD). Would this affect my resume in the future in terms of being viewed as "job hopping"?

PWC recruiter contacted me for a SA role in their Process Assurance practice in Austin. How much does it pay? And how is the work compared to external Audit?

Currently in risk consulting but seconding at an international bank for internal audit on trade related scopes. Recently got offered to join them at a higher level position. Need advice on career path of IA at bank if it's worth, because they pay would be gradually higher than consulting in the later years when reaching VP level and coming in from different industry, the new scopes are interesting. But what would I be missing out on if I stayed in consulting?
