Recruiting pitch! Recently left EY (I was so unhappy) for a smaller firm that really emphasizes WLB. Salary is decent, benefits are great, hours are reasonable, and the people are awesome (most are ex big 4 but with none of the attitude). We also get overtime pay if you happen to work more than 40 hours (!!) We have a ton of needs (seniors and up) right now so pls DM me if you enjoy the work you do but hate the hours/stress/lack of balance/independence requirements 🤗

Between the entitled clients, all of the fringe benefits being cut (expensing meals, nice hotels when traveling, etc), losing the actual benefits (PTO and bonuses), and nonexistent or minimal pay hikes, why are you still at a B4? Weren’t these things part of the reason you signed? Even if you don’t want to leave PA, why not go to a mid-tier firm, make a lot more money, and have mid-tier clients?
