Rejected from H1B this year and have 1 year of work authorization left. Deloitte insists that the GC policy requires having the H1B status first. Is there a chance that an exception can be made?

I am getting an opportunity to move from deloitte USI to Deloitte US. Just curious will I be working in USDC or PDM ? and is it possible to join deloitte consulting US on h1b after coming here or no ?

Hi all, my H1B got approved today and I am waiting on the actual physical notice. In parallel I have a L2 EAD extension request in process. My H1B is valid from oct 1 only.
