It's a good message with bad delivery.

Agree, it’s faux rage bait.

He has no employees, and that is most likely some rando, empty office space he is standing in. The "LI grifter" vibe is strong in Mr. Dance.

I feel like you do kinda need to tell your boss when you’re leaving early or coming in late though. Like if my boss was looking for me and I was no where to be found, I think that’s kind of unprofessional that I didn’t give them a heads up lol.

I wish more managers were like this. I've had managers want to know where I am every minute of the day. Heck, need a bathroom break, better tell them. I mean, really? Are you hiring adults or children? Are they getting their job done? If yes, Then treat them like adults.

like

Smells like LEK

I get the impression he’s saying everyone is an adult, and you don’t need to ask for permission.

This is the opposite of a lot of the toxicity you see online.

like

Please no. I blocked him a long time ago I had forgotten about him 😭😭😭😭

funny

I wish I could tell you that he is exaggerating, but my current supervisor and my CEO, both fully expect me to ASK permission to take off work to do all those things on that list. Just blocking the time off in the PTO system and my Outlook calendar is not enough. The level of micromanagement and distrust around here is flipping amazing. I am surprised that the company makes money. In comparison, my last employer said to block your time off in your calendar so no one tries to schedule a meeting with you while you are at your child's doctor appointment. I thought all leaders understood that micromanagement is destructive, but I guess not. Anyway, I am looking for a new employer because this organization is unworkable.

Delivery could use a little work but not a bad message. I’ve seen worse on cringedin

not too bad as long as that is true

Any recommendations of companies hiring for data analyst or junior data analyst positions?

My work place is and has been quite toxic and lately micro managing "everyone". My health can't take it anymore.

Does anyone think it’s a good idea to beg for a job and put your personal life out there to get sympathy, because that is what I am seeing every day on LinkedIn and then the recruiters and everybody will comment and send the jobs and they will end up with a job or interview the next day.
I’m getting close to the point of doing that because it seems like it is working.

on the way to an interview this morning eating a sandwich. I walked past a homeless man who had a stray cat perched on his lap. He asked for a bite of sandwich to feed them both as they hadn’t eaten in days. I gave the whole sandwich over and headed off to the interview. As I got to the interview room there was a large executive chair facing away from me. The chair turned and on top was a mirror. When looking in the mirror I could see the cat. I am the cat. Truly inspirational when you work hard

I woke up today tired.

My work cell was buzzing and then I remembered something.

I forgot to thank the bus driver that dropped me off a few days ago.

I got up and rushed downstairs to find the bus driver.

It was raining outside but I was already running barefoot to the bus stop.

I stood there soaked in my pajamas as the bus approached.

Then, the door opened. The driver got up and shook my hand.

I sat down and started my shift.

I’m the bus driver. Reminder to love and thank yourself.

There really is such a direct correlation between cringey title and cringey posts.

Before LinkedIn...to me, the king of professional cringey was Shingy. Do you guys remember him? He was aol's overpaid "digital prophet" and got paid to visit companies at lunchtime and babble the same kind of nonsense we now call "LinkedIn cringe".
