Hi All, My Junior has decided to put paper, as she wanted to pursue Cdac course from Sept-22. She just informed that she signed a bond of 2 years and currently she has completed 1.7 years in HCL. What should she do now? Results is on 10-aug and she decided to put paper on that day itself (Earlier she told the same to Sr. manager) Kindly suggest if any action would be taken by HCL OR No experience letter would be shared with her. That’s low but in today’s market I would take it
BMS is pretty mid level for salary. GSK is usually on the lower end among the big pharmas from what I've heard
I felt the salary range in AZ is wide. I got a director level offer and the base is 220K, the upper bound of the range and no room for further negotiation.
Lowballing is becoming a problem… I’ve been job hunting for about a year, and noticed salaries are down 30% since SVB collapsed and took out a number of biotechs in the process… Companies are taking advantage of this…
This is magnifying the inflation problem, as not only are salaries not keeping up, they’re falling behind…
That is low. Lol
What function are you looking at? Seems a bit low…
GSK titles are inflated. Director there is really AD
Agreed. Both AZ and GSK have inflated titles.
That’s low.
What dept at GSK?
I also interviewed at GSK, lower than an AD level, and from the 1st interview, they were offering 20k lower than what I have at BMS. It was discouraging 😞 but decided to say yes to proceed to next steps.
Seems low. It can go $20k higher at least but i guess companies have more applicants now
unless you are involved in the science, research and development of new and emerging treatments I think that everyone who has garnered these ridiculously inflated salaries over all these years needs to accept that ‘the business’ of this industry is one of the poster children for ‘all that is wrong with capitalism’ in our world.
The way in which the cost of your salaries is past along to the eventual consumer of the medication or the medical device and thereby placing health care outside of the financial reach for so many.
We mustn’t think too deeply on the ethics though lest we should all come to distrust capitalism and our own worth in relation to it.
I think 190K is about right for GSK. GSK is not an employer of choice and they pay low. But that is why many people leave over time.
Hello seeing this thread now, anyone know what’s the salary cap for AD role at GSK? Current offer at 160K and thought a bit in low end as well.
What grade is the AD role you’re referring to?
