I have a question regarding MBB job applications. I've been diligently applying to the MBB firms for the post-MBA consultant role. However, I have not been getting any interview invites. My resume seems to be good. I have graduated from the targeted business school. I am low in networking. Networking doesn't come naturally to me. Could you please advise how I can improve my chances of getting an interview invite?

For Machine learning engineer roles, what are the coding interview rounds like? Are they more ML algorithm based coding or DS/trees/graph related?

Need to know one thing urgently. Have attended lateral TCS interview and cleared TR and MR..But got to know in the MR round that my preferred base location they cant provide..So went ahead with it. HR discussion yet to happen.. In the meanwhile got another interview scheduled tomorrow frm TCS whose talent acquisition person told its a pan india location and any location can be provided...

Can anyone please let me know If I sit for the interview tomorrow will it cause any issue/not?

What are some case interview questions you’ve come across in consulting?

I think I bombed a case interview with Chartis for an associate consultant position. The case was in excel and required me to manipulate the data via share screen with the interviewer. I couldn’t get some functions to work and was struggling to go through the 16 page PDF of data. I had several answers correct but needed to walk through the remaining questions with some guidance. My other 3 case interviews went well and I had great conversation with the partner for behavioral interview. Thoughts?

Recently started going through the interview process. I ended up going through 2 interviews in about a week. After the first interview I heard back the following day saying that they wanted to meet for a second one. It’s been about 4 days now since the second interview, which felt like it went great, and still haven’t heard anything. Am I being impatient or should I have heard back by now? I already sent a thank you message after the second interview, should I try to follow up again?

Other than me being sick of my job and wanting more money, what are some other good reasons I can tell a recruiter why I'm looking for a lateral position change?

Completed all the interviews and had positive feedback but before the offer I spoke with the recruiter (third party) and asked them if I can get to a certain compensation number as I might have couple other offers around that number but they got back saying the firm has decided to move on as they cannot match it. What can I do now? Still interested in the role.

Salam. 23M here - all my life I’ve had my back on our faith - never really prayed but had imaan (I guess). After bouts of depression from girl problems (🙄), issues within immediate family, being disappointed expectations I had for myself, etc. I’ve been working on bettering my situation over the years.
