I’m in big law and on the cusp of making the jump to in-house. It sounds like the company I just interviewed with is getting ready to make me an offer. It’s definitely going to be a pay cut coming from big law but I do get some nice equity in the company. Is the jump worth it? I'm ashamed to say this, but I spend most Sunday evenings with a drink thinking about the upcoming week. I sit on my front porch and 1 becomes 2, and so on, until Monday comes later than it should.

What are some things that are helping you avoid burnout recently? I've been spending a lot more time outside, blocking off my schedule more consistently, and even taking extra days off. Slowly I'm starting to feel more like myself!

What do you do to fight burnout? Got a raise yesterday and will get another in September, for dealing with a lot of stuff, but I can't shake the burnout.
