I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google
I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.
I applied to a job opening on Accenture site on Nov. 16. Around Dec 16, my profile got rejected, without any calls or emails. I was told that I could apply only after 6 months. So, I replied on May 20th (6 months from Nov. 16). I got a message saying that the profile already exists. So, I waited for some more time and applied on June 18tg. Using the word ‘pivoting’ shows you’re already half-way to being a great consultant!
I hope so!!

Yes. Top MBA programs can exit 1/3 to consulting, and the programs will have consulting recruiting bootcamps to walk you through the process. Frameworks, insider tips, events, access to alumni in consulting, etc.
100%. All the top consulting firms recruit on campus at top b schools. Very doable to switch from basically any background into consulting if you attend a top MBA program.
I don’t think you need an MBA.
How many years or experience do you have collectively? Is there no way you can find an internal pivot at Facebook?
Your salary expectations are higher where you are now especially if you are more junior in collective experience. Take some time to really think about what you want.
Consulting also can be a drain in the long run and you might end up pivoting back to technology
What you need then is to practice casing, not to get an MBA.

I'd recommend you stay or lateral to another tech company, MBB is a lot tougher work hours with less benefits. Really make sure you're ready for that and know what you're going in for
Also, could I have your job if you're gonna leave lol?
Don’t bother. There’s a good reason why there’re loads of ex consultants at FB but few swim in the other direction
