Senior, NY and now SF 130k, 9+ years experience. The senior title can be different things in different places (I’ve held the director title at a different agency for example) so I’m not sure it’s as relevant as the amount of strategy experience you have/projects you’ve worked on/led etc.
I'm at 93k in NYC. I've been under the impression that the going rate at most big agencies is 100-110. I'm also young for a senior.
Was on 105k in LA when I first made sr
110k NYC. I thought I was massively underpaid going by Glassdoor’s standards.
75k in LA, overdue for a raise. Applying to jobs in the 85-110k range depending on the city
105 NYC
100k LA
105 in NYC as well
125 NYC
@S2 entry level like a jr. Strategist in LA? $40-50k. Could be more or less depending on the shop and what other experience you have.
What agency is throwing out 10-15k raises per year for 10 years?
I'm at 90k a couple years into the title
Where u based?
True @Strat1.
85k not in the coasts
while y’all are here... what would y’all say is a good starting salary for entry level strategy in LA?
When I went from Manager to Director, I was at around $125k (in TX). A couple of job changes and 6 yrs later I went to $140k-$155k-$165k and just got promoted to Group Director making $200k.
In NY it’s about 50k starting salary with a $10-15k bump per year experience up to $150k... then it gets a bit less consistent. Sr Strategists are around $100k.
Sorry - not raises... that’s more the going rates. So Jr. Strategist with no experience gets 50k. If they work 5 years, they are either a strategist or Sr. Strategist and now can command around 100-125. Sorry for the confusion!
