Uplift desk, Herman Miller chair
This. It’s worth spending a bit more for these two items.
Autonomous here. Get monitor arms.
I have an autonomous desk as well. Amazing company support too
Is this the lifestyle creep they speak of???
I like my Jarvis Bamboo sit/stand desk from Fully, and the desk with the options I chose was $787.
I also got a chair that works with it in standing mode that was very expensive, and honestly I don’t think I’d recommend it. It’s not that comfortable to sit on, and I just picked up a normal aero style task chair from Costco for about $100 to see if I like that better (which would only work after lowering the desk).
Foldable white desks with adjustable legs from Costco. Costs like $7. Used it all the time.
Books on top of the chest of drawers along with standing mat, posture corrector and wireless keyboard + mouse ordered from Amazon. Cost me about $75
The desk, get it if from Home Depot, it's an adjustable work bench. Looks sexy and only costs 200
After doing decent amount of research ending up getting a desk from Btod.com. Desk is incredibly solid and the motor moves quick and fairly quietly.
Also second the monitor arms as they keep the desk so much cleaner and easier to move around.
STEELCASE Chair or Vitra of course. Deffo adjustable desk and Monitor Arms & Docking Station
Thanks guys. The biggest complaint of the uplift desk or Autonomous is they all use the same Chinese manufacturer for the mechanism, which uses some cheap parts. I’m think of getting the Energize series desk from iMovR. It’s only a few bucks more than the uplift and the build and stability are really good.
I’m still struggling with the chair, I don’t want to spend $1200 for the Herman Miller since I’ve always used one and never loved it.
I love it. Super sturdy, never shakes, quiet when lifting. I have a lot of weight on it and it runs like a champ.
I have the Varidesk desktop model and love it. https://www.varidesk.com
Entirely manual and allows me to keep my existing desk
