I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? How can I know I'm getting the best salary and not just settling at the low end of the range?

I‘m moving to Australia with my partner and we don’t have a bank account and credit cards yet. Hi. I am desperate to change jobs. I have two offer in hands: Deloitte Hyderbad on a contract basis with 15% hike and KPMG Bangalore FTE with 25% hike. I like Deloitte as a brand better.
None of of these two companies are willing to offer more saying that they have a tight budget.

2yrs of post-undergrad experience at D and have offers from two FAANG companies. Worth it to stick it out for a couple more years to open up more offers down the road, or should I get out while I can?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Is mgmt consulting (tech, strategy, hr, etc.) a promising field for the next 10-20 years? If you can invest in MBB and big fours, would u invest in it?
