Should I negotiate an offer that's already a bump in total comp? Old salary: $105k. New offer: $100k base + $25k sign-on bonus (paid monthly), so $125k total. It's a huge, well-known company that could easily pay more, but I'm hesitant to risk a good thing. What would you do?

I once tried to negotiate for more and they withdrew the offer! No negotiation. I was stunned.

A sign on bonus is just one time so generally not included in total comp. What is your current base + yearly bonus and new one?

I am very Fortunate that I currently have multiple job offers and waiting for my final offer letter, outlining salary, bonus structure And benefit Package.
However, with this being said… I am in the same position as everyone Else in regards to the Company’s not meeting my Bass salary. I have never been in a position in the past 20 years of needing to negotiate My salary and/or overall benefit
package.
I welcome any and all input in navigating “negotiation talks” And strategies to companies in paying my base salary based on my Years of experience, skill set and overall value “ asset”to the company’s overall growth. If companies are unable to meet my base salary, What is the current acceptable sign on bonus range? Also current range of additional PTO time? Thank you
Upon receiving official letter, I will be comparing and presenting my counter to companies in order to finalize my decision of where I want to continue to build my career.

Hey guys! So yesterday, I was in the running for 2 positions in the same division at Goldman Sachs, got invited yesterday to go for a 3rd position after they submitted my HireVue, all of this is in the Salt Lake City office. They came back to me shortly after that saying they were inviting me to a superday next week for all 3 positions. If anyone knows what the next steps are, I’d appreciate any info or insight. Just looking to see what the chances of getting an offer or anything like that.

Anyone else get frustrated when the partner brags about their billable hour amount for the month? Like congrats, you get to bill .2 for each piece of mail. You also get .2 for every letter your secretary types up as a "form letter" you never even look at. As an Associate, I don't get those easy/automatic hours.

I received a job offer from company A and am currently negotiating salary. I have an interview with company B next week and know that they offer a higher base pay. Should I accept the offer from company A, continue interview process with company B and then rescind my offer with company A if company B offers me a job? Will I be burning bridges?

Anybody know salary range for VP Operations for GS in SLC?

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? How can I know I'm getting the best salary and not just settling at the low end of the range?

Should I Go Back and Reneg? Recently I was offered a role as a Project Implementation Manager (In Retirement Services) .The salary range for Colorado residents was 65-89K. I’m located in NY so the recruiter said he would try to get me more. Ultimately he came back at 90K which is a bit inline with that I was seeing on Glassdoor but approx looks like I may leave 10-12K on the table. I accepted already but may get an offer from another HR company in account management around 90-100K. Need advice

Hello all. My company just went through an acquisition and the company did some restructuring of job titles. When they did this we were all advised the company would be making sure our jobs pay aligned with the national average.
My issue with this is my job title went from a Technical Support Supervisor to a Customer Success Team Lead. I have voiced my concerns with management but have been advised job titles are semantics. In my eyes this is a demotion, and will affect how much my job is worth.

I received an offer for a role that is a lot more money than I thought but I still want to negotiate and see how much more money I can get. What can I say if the salary is already above average for the role in the market and city I live in?
