Which will be the better option in between these two companies in terms of WLB, Projects and Job Security?

Offer help - yesterday I’ve received an offer from DataDog for Services Architect 3 role on their expert services team (ProServe) - pre sale solution and engagement.

Offer was as follows Base: 155k RSU: 22.5k (90k total over 4 years, 1 year cliff).

I currently make 170k base + ISO (private company so kinda hard to evaluate). I’m 4.5 YOE

I said it needs to be more in 210-220 range in order to switch. She’s going to talk to the manager on Monday and get back to me.

Crowdsourcing exit ideas. I have 20yoe in a niche area of federal environmental work but I’m also a strong consultant w/experience in management/leadership, proposals, writing, recruiting, training, strategic planning…. I’m stagnant in my current role. I want more pay, but I want to keep a remote role. Everything I see sounds boring, too technical/software related, or like a director/exec role that will kill my WLB. It’s been 18 month since my firm forced promotion or severance on to us as they eliminated my position. They promised an increase in commission based pay at the end of the licensing period. Its been 2 months (6 pay periods) since I completed this and no change. They say they are waiting for the licenses to post officially, but have all the evidence that I’ve passed. I am a M2 at B4 FDD and don’t know how long i’ll be genuinely interested in this work. Currently debating rotating into a B4 IB associate role for a year or two, then moving to PE. Is this a reasonable move? I know IB lifestyle will suck, but I don’t want to find myself in a spot where I dislike what I do in a few years and feel like moving to IB may increase my chances of landing a better gig in the future ( as opposed to sticking to FDD)

Just had my first experience interviewing with a PE ops team; case interview was lead by a junior employee who hadn't bothered to review a resume & very clearly had not been taught how to lead a case interview.

Have other PE opportunities, so second guessing if this is the right exit path. Is this typical of what to expect with the larger funds that have consulting/portfolio ops. teams? Anyone have a similar experience?
