Slalom Consulting fishes! I just had a positive interview for a couple of positions: (1) Organization Effectiveness consultant and (2) Agile Solution Owner, Leadership Delivery . What’s your take on these roles? Also the pay range for these roles were very wide so I’m a little concerned about what they’d offer as well :/ Appreciate any insight and TIA!

Have you had experience selling and leading projects? If yes, you might be eligible to be considered as Principal. Otherwise, looks like Senior Consultant is a good fit. Salary has a big range.
Congratulations! Most important is to do what you enjoy most. If you’re 50-50 I’d say the SO role is valued much more.
Yup, I would say 140-145 for senior consultant. Consultant will probably come in around 120-130.
How many years of experience and what rank are you being considered for?
I’ve never heard the term rank used at Slalom in until now
10 yoe fed consulting, 7 yoe direct PM experience, last two years in Agile software development. Certified in Agile and Scrum Master and PMP
Leading projects, yes. Selling projects... not so much...didn’t really have much opportunity to do that on my current project.
I was offered Principal without any experience selling, only experience leading projects - so it's definitely possible. This will probably depend on your market's current needs and the state of the practice.
