I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

You could try FP&A
How would I go about starting in this / moving to that field?
Highly recommend not in finance if im being candid.
Oh really, why do you say that??
It sounds like you need to do some research and networking. A good starting point would be to talk to people in your company and learn about the various roles there and see if any of them interest you. An obvious pathway would be to work at becoming a CPA, and start thinking about getting a certification. Or, if there are other areas of finance you want to get into, do some research and get serious about pivoting to those.
This is my starting point with the research :) Getting people’s advice on fields that are good / not good and their experience! Google can’t tell me that as well annoyingly!
But absolutely, networking is a great idea. But it’s even that, how to get started within that, as I’m only young so feel I wouldn’t be taken seriously. Maybe I’m overthinking it!
I would definitely network and even see if you can shadow people in other departments. Sometimes when you aren't sure what to do, that can be a great way to figure out what you might be a good fit for.
Get more education! Almost always opens more doors.
I would but can’t find anywhere that offers study support, and I am on such a low salary I can’t afford to pay it myself
