So I was let go a week ago, currently looking for a new job but I'm a father of 3 with no car and I Lyft or find a way to get to work Everytime without fail I was usually a go to happy go lucky worker until management made changes and people changed the atmosphere of the work. Long story short all the day one hires including myself were fazed out. If anyone could recommend a good Job with good structure and a healthy work life would be amazing.

I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?

SM on my project stepped away on paternity leave. SM was the one who led partner discussions and most of the client meetings. We're a week from a client deadline.
