SM on my project stepped away on paternity leave. SM was the one who led partner discussions and most of the client meetings. We're a week from a client deadline.

As a manager, I'm stepping but incredibly stress with the amount of moving parts. I don't have a strong rapport with the partner (Neither did the SM) to be open and transparent on how stressful I'm feeling without downgrading myself.

I'm sick to the stomach and very anxious, stressed at the suddenness of the thrust.

Has anyone here considered leaving healthcare altogether? I am really drawn by a role in tech, but I know it's such a big leap. I have a friend who did this though, and she is making even more than I have made as a travel nurse. Is it an anomaly or a real possibility?

Before taking FMLA for 12 weeks I was a top performer. Any advice from those that also live with bipolar disorder, or advice on a potentially a less stressful position to ease out of sales? Where do you find the time to get everything done in the day when you have multiple partners, associates and equity partners that interrupt you and want things turned around immediately while simultaneously working on deadlines? I feel like I’m the only one that can’t manage a 70+ case load without letting someone down. I constantly have to say “Can I do this tomorrow?” Etc. I don’t even have time to bill on the clock. I work until 7p at least every night. Top 10 family law firm.

Looking for some mental health advice - I’ve been dealing with pretty debilitating anxiety/panic attacks for over 5 years. Finally started to get some help for it through medication, however the first 3 meds my PCP prescribed me (ssris) didn’t work. Because I haven’t deal with the anxiety it’s gotten really bad. Do I go to a pyscitatrist whose trained more in pharma or start with therapist. Have done therapy in past without much help.

During the pandemic I dove into my self care (found a therapist, learned I was having seizures and got on meds for that). My journey has been difficult and not pretty to watch. Somewhere along the line I feel like my fiancé saw too much. I no longer feel like romantic parters and instead feel like we have a “caretaker/patient” type relationship.
