So if quickbooks handles everything… why do book keepers charge small businesses 350/month?

Maybe because it DOESN’T handle everything?

Care to illuminate?

They still need to input the numbers, track for accuracy and find opportunities to get you stronger tax returns. They likely also pay into a commercial license for Quickbooks.

You’re paying for a service. The same way could bring your own pizza home, you tip the driver for doing it for you.

QuickBooks is a pretty terrible accounting software IMO, good integration with banks/paypal but otherwise pretty limited if you’re not a sub 5 person professional services business.

Hi Fishes

I gave google silicon interview all 4 rounds 3+ months back, from then they are saying they want to hire me but headcount approval is not yet received.
Last week they said, lets go for one more round and finalize immediately. That interview also went very good.
Post that they didn't call back itself, they have stopped responding also.

Has anybody faced this issue? This I feel completely unprofessional and not really expected from Google.

Thanks

Curious to know what you've seen as working to non working dollars split in Canadian agencies. Reference any specific brands (or categories) if you can. I'm used to seeing the conventional 15-20% split for non working (production dollars only, not including media budget, agency fees) but are those days gone now with the takeover of digital (vs traditional) ad placements?

I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?
