There isn't a cap that I know of, it varies by office, role and experience. Slalom likes to go a bit above market when they hire and with merit increases to keep good people. Good luck, it's a great place to work!
Its not all perfect over here. For example...when i go to the office it takes me forever to leave - every time i go there i end up starting to drink w everyone at 430 and then end up playing wii with them until late
I second what SC1 says
I'm yet to hear one bad thing about Slalom from Slalom people. It must be great
To your question: no cap. There are Consultants that earn more than Directors. There are other levels: Principal Consultant, Consulting Manager, Solution Architect, Practice Area Lead, etc. but I believe that 85% of our employees have the title of Consultant. Levels and expectations of them vary by office. I've heard there is an initiative in place to understand and consider a company-wide standard for titles and their respective duties.
Do we have an sap practice?
Btw...like my fellow peers said earlier. Our pay ranges vary a lot. Im over making more money that a lot of senior manager friends that i have as a consultant.
Either way its a fun place
Slalom does not have an SAP practice. Being competitive in ERP generally means offshoring, and that is something that Slalom won't do. There are people with ERP experience that work projects that touch ERPs, but that's relatively uncommon.
D2, Slalom S&O does value S&O type generalists, and many Slalom S&O people came from Deloitte S&O. S&O recruiting rarely posts openings as people tend to be pulled from our networks.
SC3, there are definitely some high bill rate consultants that make fat stacks. They're highly valuable to Slalom as the make more than they cost and they have no upward mobility aspirations.
Slaloms Exec leaders make it a great place to work. There are few PALs that are idiots making their practice not fun to be part of. They are not hard to spot because there aren't many thank goodness.
What kind of clients does Slalom have in the SAP space?
What's your expertise, years of experience, office, and current salary?
✡️
Depends on market conditions for skillset.... mid to high 100s are not unheard of
Does slalom hire or value more S&O type generalists? It looks like most of the roles being hired have a technology or digital / CX component to them that are more specialized than I am
@SC4 I actually learned that we have an SAP COE so to speak out of Houston. So we do some SAP work, just not large scale implementations (thank God).
You are correct, C1. That capabilities lies in DL as I understand.
Consultants earn more than PADs? O_o how? Are they pricing themselves out of billable hours
Are those people technical specialists in some area? What kind of position and skills are you talking about?
