McKinsey & Company I did my final round with McKinsey today, and I I received a rejection call from the partner today. However, he said I did really great and wants to keep in touch with me. He also mentioned that I should reapply in 6 months. Does anyone have any similar experience? Do I have a better chance if I reapply next time?McKinsey & Company

Typical banker. Bye!
Thanks for letting us know you've jumped ship on one of the most promising innovations in the last 100 years. Not sure how you got hired into the financial services industry...
^ LMAO ok this one made me laugh. I’m overflowing with responses. Putting aside whether blockchain really is such a promising innovation, it doesn’t follow that the value creation will go to random coins. There are a million more steps between “cool technology” and “good investment"
But hey maybe these valuations make sense and all the sellers/non-buyers are just wrong. I don’t care either way - I’m just mad I didn’t sell everything earlier. Good luck.
Were you ever in?
Good. Don’t forget to learn IOS programming, then you can secure your job for when your bank becomes an iphone app.
Op, my point is that you made $122k profit by HODLing, and then you basicaly post an aggressive message that what made you $122k richer is now a mental illness gambling type of investing and whoever follows exactly what you did has no rationale by doing so. That seems a little selfish opportunism to me. It is fine to turn bearish, or to stop believing in a specific coin or coins, but your generic tone sounds contradictory lurching towards self-interest to me. Long term this “investment” will be the best return by far.
I got in pretty late. Consider it to be a VC investment. It’s actually pretty annoying that it’s marked to “market” constantly
Barclays, what was your total profit?
122k. it could’ve been almost 3x higher had i cashed out in early jan. hence my whining lol
You are publicly stating you’re selling then you can influence more people to sell so that you can buy cheaper later? That’s what banks do. Blockchain is not about the technology. Well, good luck
I’m so confused. Blockchain is “not about the technology”? Well thats news to everyone. More importantly, you really think I’m trying to *depress the price of a globally traded asset with my fishbowl posts*???
Where do you keep your nobel prize? You’re obv a genius 😐
Barclays - the asset price of every coin could plummet to zero. Sure, yes, this could happen. More likely, as we've seen in the advent of any evolutionary tech, is consolidation into the hands of a few. I see no reason why seeking out those few with thorough research (and a bit of prayer), and making calculated bets with a small percentage of your net worth, is foolish. The upside is massive, and the downside is controlled.
^the problem with this is that you’re assuming away the biggest question of all (what prices will be long term) without any persuasive evidence or logic to support your claim. Honestly fuck what you “believe” and fuck your baseless enthusiasm lol. Make a persuasive case that value will accrue to an asset that lacks any legal claim on the cash flows of a business or any way to rationally approximate a rational valuation. If your argument is that a volatile digital asset that fluctuates 20% in a day and doesn’t pay interest will be a global store of value....god bless you 😂
I lost 3x more than I profited by not selling sooner tbh. If im right people will save money by selling. If I’m wrong they’ll miss out on profit. I’m free to give an opinion and you’re free to ignore it. Why do you care what I think?
