SO was contacted by a recruiter for a research analyst position at a top PE. He’s currently in consulting, doing lots of M&A dd work. The recruiter said the position pays on par with their associates, ~250k. He’s also been contacted by recruiters for smaller PEs associate roles. What are some PE firms (likely mid-market) that specialise in doing Entertainment deals, especially in gaming hardware, software, solutions that underpin the value chains ?

Any firms have a focus on Aerospace and Defense industries? Headhunters always reach out about tech and healthcare firms (as well as more generalist ones), which are great but I’m just not that interested. Only find a few with significant A&D exposure.

How does the compensation (base+bonus+carry) look like at Sequoia, Tiger, Accel etc as you move up?
