When is comp day? Thought it was yesterday..
Hello All, I have one question. I was a fresher and joined one organization as external employee with third party payroll. I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. Will my offer get reverted?Cognizant Tata Consultancy HCL Technologies Accenture

Maybe an unpopular opinion... but the issues around the engineering of the Max were not under his leadership (he’s been CEO for ~5 years). I get the leadership shift, but he started at Boeing since he was an intern... it’s a large sum of money, but that’s life.
If both of y’all left BCG, why are you still on this bowl? Ban

Being a billionaire doesn't directly make you a robber baron or a warlord....
CEO comp is incredibly high. Job security is incredibly low. As a candidate, you’re looking for financial security. Shareholders are overwhelmingly in favor of providing that via golden parachutes. I have much smaller one than this, but it would probably take me a year to find the next job. That’s just the cost of getting the right guy/gal. What do you suggest?
SC1 - I agree and am sure the courts will decide. Previous comments and mine were about CEO comp being too high. Those packages are decided well in advance of any good/bad actions taken. They are what they are for a reason.
OP - This is a silly comment. If you had the skills, connections, and track record of success for a CRO job, you would have this option. But you don’t... so you don’t. This is like my pool guy saying he’d gladly make $500k to work 60 hr week.

You better not have an angry former CEO.
Not that I think Boeing did everything right. BUT, Lion Air is getting a free pass on a terrible safety record. This is in part due to a lack of pilot training which has led to pilots who don't have the experience to know what to do when things don't go by the book.
Never said Boeing should get a free pass. There are certainly other problems going on at Boeing. But I also don't think it was an inevitable issue in this case.
Good riddance. Boeing was getting a lot of heat for their shit security this year. There is this info and another guy who stumbled upon an unprotected server housing specs for 737&787 networks. How that wasn’t a scandal I don’t know https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.csoonline.com/article/3451585/boeings-poor-information-security-posture-threatens-passenger-safety-national-security-researcher-s.amp.html
