Some recruiters don't actually look at the zip code and your proximity before calling you about a position which can be a little frustrating

Thanks for the heads up

Recruiting is just a numbers game. They’ll call any and everyone

By some - do you mean mostly all? :)

You meant to say most. Most don’t and it’s kinda absurd. I live in the Chicago area and a recruiter called me about a fully onsite role near the Michigan/Indiana border…almost on the other side of Lake Michigan.

To and from my home it’s 130 miles per day. Is it doable? Sure. Is it worth it? No…at least not for me.

Just taking the opportunity to get current. Sober 3 years and 10 months. This past couple weeks have been stressful and my mind slipped into fantasizing about my drug of choice. Although I have neglected my morning practice this week, I'm practicing self compassion with positive self talk.

Hi all! I recently finished my Masters in Biology. I worked on a few studies with human subjects as well as animal work. I am hoping to get a job in clinical research as either a CRC or CRA. I previously worked at a doctors office as a care manager for 4 years, but outside of my academic work I don’t have experience in research. What advice do you all have for entering the field in my position?
Thanks!!
