Some talkative customers really cross the line. As a call center agent, I often get calls where people start venting about their issue without even giving their name or account info. They go on and on, and when I finally interrupt to ask for details, they repeat everything all over again. It’s exhausting trying to follow their story without context. You waste time listening to a problem you can’t even help with until you get the right info. Ever dealt with a call like that?

Do you get the feeling that there is a higher image promotion of women/minority people in Tech?I have seen way to many pictures from major tech companies that promote far more women/minorities than white males in their marketing materials.Wouldn't be better if we hired the best people no matter what the race/gender is?I know some companies are not publishing any gender/race stats but you cant't really demand a 50/50 ratio.Also there is no coincidence that most execs is some companies are British. So this goes both ways.

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.

Someone came in and ordered 60 bacon double cheeseburgers… my crew thought I was kidding. 😅

Once when I was waiting tables, I had a guy pay me cash. The change was 45 cents, which I didn't give back to him because like who wants that. He then asked where the change was, and when I explained that I didn't give back the loose change, he made a big stink about how dollars and cents matter and didn't leave me a tip. He was a republican staffer on capitol hill.
