Left on vacation with the boyfriend, 1 hour into the drive realized I forgot my Switch at home 🤦🏼♀️ Effectively adding 2 hours to our trip to go back for it, hope this dumb sea otter event doesn’t lead to me getting dumped on vacay 🙃

Do any of the other big4 have a time off program similar to Deloitte? Deloitte’s allows you to take up to 3 months off while keeping benefits.
Folks, I need your suggestions to make a choice 1- Resign and then wait for my joining in next firm in May end. 2. Use two weeks leave and then resign, giving me two weeks paid vacation. Factors: In a critical large project where everyone is working 13-15 hours, will probably burn bridges with client as well as my current firm Already Burnt out with crazy hours and 2 weeks vacation will really help Two weeks without Health insurance during a pandemic doesn't seem to be great idea.
If I am looking to give my two weeks, I know general protocol is to inform managers and partner prior to telling HR. But if the hiring company wants you to put in the two weeks immediately and the partner is unavailable, is it okay to circumvent and reach out after telling HR?
How is PTO valued? (Salary / 365) x PTO days? Or, (Salary / 2080) x PTO hours. My question is whether or not to factor in weekends. Deloitte
Would anyone be willing to chat who made the jump from big 4 —> tech —> MBB? I did not have a great experience in tech and looking to pivot back into consulting. Went to a non-target undergrad but 10 YOE at good firms.
Hi Fishes, Accenture has openings in their mobilization team under the ops division. I have been offered a role at CL9 with fixed component of around 15 LPA. I have 5.5 YOE. The offer is approximately a 100% hike on my previous salary however i was able to negotiate on my current offers from from EY and FSL (both less than Accenture offer). Is the HR lowballing me and would you have any feedback for the mobilization team. Thanks
Anyone in Strategy& - tech Strategy can help with interview tips? Case types? And just general questions to prep for?
How much do partners really make at Big 4 and MBB. Let's say the first year being a partner ?
My husband and I have concert tickets to a big outdoor festival that was cancelled for covid and is now happening in late August. His brothers and some college friends are flying in to stay with us. We just found out we're pregnant and I'll be 9 weeks by concert time. We aren't ready to tell anyone but we can't think how we can ask them to cancel without explaining. We are all vaccinated and are in SF so cases are low, but not zero. Any advice?
For those that have joint account with your spouse how do you fund that account monthly? Wondering if a recurring monthly transfer from my salary account to the joint account is a questionable move? Also, what is a ballpark monthly estimate outside of mortgage payment. Any suggestions? Recently living in and trying to figure out expenses
Currently a recent college grad and working as an analyst in financial services. Majored in Risk Mgmt and working a rotation within Risk. Contemplating whether I should go back to school for an MBA or JD? Would like to be in house counsel at my company with JD or Senior/Exec leader with MBA. Thoughts?
