Treat yourself to a nice meal OP! Also, remember that signing bonus of 10-15k you got when you started? That’s the biggest bonus you’re going to see in a very long time
K1, your first comment ties exactly into my point. To your second comment, I disagree wholeheartedly, and the best firms in Consulting operate under this core assumption (not us, sadly). Utilization should be a partner metric ONLY. If you’re junior staff, you’ve been drinking a little too much kool-aid. If you’re senior, you’re a part of the problem if you actually believe that.
You haven't earned your keep yet
You literally worked two months of the fiscal year. We’re you chargeable?
We don’t get a bonus until our first full year on the job.
We wouldn't even consider you for bonus after that short a time
OP you got no skills and you’re complaining already? #entitledbabyanalystsyndrome
Sorry that it was even less than Cathy Cash.
I downvote OP.
Op, just think next year after working for an entire bonus cycle you'll get about $1000, that's a huge carrot for you to chase
So you expected a bonus when you were 0% chargeable? Bonuses are not like participation trophies.
You worked between 2-3 months in the FY.
Welcome to the real world. Your contributions are not as important as you think.
This is a troll post lol
At Deloitte, we don’t receive a bonus until the end of our first year as a consultant... so that would be three years of work in. Sounds to me like you are off to a great start.
OP, starting bonuses are based on your undergrad institution (target school or not), your major (to assess competitiveness in your respective industry), your GPA, and your interview skills
Also as an aside, what is with the OP putting a space before all the punctuation marks....?
A4 I wish I got that signing bonus . They screwed me over that too ! 😭
Bonuses should be based on performance, not chargeable time. It’s the partners’ job to keep you chargeable. That said, don’t worry OP. The game is rigged against you always, but particularly right at the start. Chin up and next year that number should at least have an extra zero on the tail end!
I'm surprised they gave you anything at all
