I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.

I'm proud to be too dumb for mensa
Rising Star
Lol love it

Well the official answer is Y as I stated.
If you want to disagree write for their comitee not me.
I'd think it's U cause the difference bte the letters follow the sequence 2,4,6...8 but apparently it goes 2,4,6...12
Yea both patterns are possible so don’t see why it’d be one vs the other
Rising Star
I got a gooder one: what’s 70 - 1 expressed as a four letter word?
I... don’t get it. I’m sure it’s dirty just not sure what it is....
I can’t speak to whether or not you’re dumb, but based on the information given, there’s no reason it can’t be U.
If you move 2 letters after A you get C.
Add 2 more shifts on top of the 2 original, you have 4 letters which puts you at G.
If you add 2 more to the 4 you are now at M.
Adding 2 more the the 6 between G and M and you’re at U.
Maybe your intern thinks he’s funny by interpreting U as You, so he can say it’s not You. But U is a correct answer.
Lol you can use bs logic get like half the letters in the alphabet. This is bs logic not really logic questions
Pro
It’s Y. The A to C has 2 jumps. C to G has 4 jumps. Next jump you add 2 + 4 = 6 and 6 jumps from G is M. Now add 2+4+6=12 and 12 jumps from M is Y.
Right, I guess I meant the jump from 2 to 4. It doesn’t fit the sequence of adding the prior numbers

Clearly not in Mensa- didn’t even post the link to the podcast.

I wrote the question. It is V.
I tested it with my whole family and all of us said U... I found a way to get W also but I can’t figure out how V is the answer
Rising Star
I too tested five other people who got U, so don’t see Y, maybe I’m just stupid 😂
Okay so this is one of those bs lateral what am I thinking question where the answer can have multiple but the "right" is whatever approach the person thinks it is but y is the answer if you use an arthemic sequence where after the first two numbers in the sequence the next later is the amount of letters forward of the sum of all the previous junps. So...
A-1
Jump of 2
C-3
So go forward 4
G-7
So forward 6
M-13
Go forward 12
Y-25
Rising Star
Exactly, that’s why a lot of us said “U” because the easiest pattern is 2,4,6,8.
A bullet dodged by not joining Mensa.

It’s V

I was informed the correct answer is “Y”. I don’t see it and it’s going to bother me
