What are your long term salary goals?
Hey Googlers, I’m going in for my GCP TAM second round on Monday and had a few QQs for you all:
1. For the RRK2 case study if there is a scenario for handling peak time workloads where the client did a lift & shift of a monolithic architecture, is the best suggestion to move them to micro services to enable serverless and auto scaling features?
2. I was told that they’ll give me 15 mins to prep after the case study is shared live, would you suggest I build a 1 pager or is that not required?Google
HI folks,
My current CTC is very low with respect to my YOE. CTC : 5.2 lpa
YoE : 4
Tech stack : Python , MLops
But now my manager has initiated H1B visa for me and the visa process is in progress.
Is it worth to wait till the H1B process completes to work in U.S (74k package) (or) should i make a switch immediately. ?

S& bonus is two to three times more than EYP
EYP probably has better WLB
Stay at EYP. Same title and base is unattractive, especially if it resets your promo clock. Gap in WLB (S& has worse wlb) may or may not justify the bigger bonuses, which aren't guaranteed anyway. Needing to reestablish yourself at a new place takes extra time and effort.
Main exception: you're targeting an industry that S& will let you specialize in that you can't access at EYP.
My opinion is no, unless you really need the money and that money is worth the extra time and stress. Sounds like you may work 20% harder for 20% more money.

S& pays much more all in
Is S& WLB really that bad? Would be surprised if it is much worse than EYP strategy... maybe that’s the case for the other EYP competencies since it seems they have pretty decent WLB
Oh how I would love to have 60 hour weeks...
Depends on your level. Are you coming in as an associate or SA? Then it’s probably worth it. If you’re moving as a manager, it will be a much more difficult adjustment.
