Congrats on the move OP! I'm glad everyone on this thread was encouraging and we didn't get that random person who tells us how back in 1980 their first consulting job paid less

Wow my first job out of college working for the government paid more than that...I'm sure you can find better opportunities OP!

Jesus, what horizontal of advisory / service line are you in? I'm an A3 with an $83k salary

I'm in the lowest cost of living bracket and I'm making 78 at the same level. Not sure how that's possible

^Agreed. Definitely underpaid at Pdubs. If you want to stay in consulting maybe try jumping Big Four.

There's no way you're Advisory. Lowest level (A1) advisory associates in the lowest CoL cities start at 70.

OP, masters while you work? Why? Go to a grad program or don't. Don't believe the nonsensical hype that all degrees are created equal

Leave! Campus recruiters at ACN get 75k +signing package. Good luck OP!

Leave.

You are in Boston getting pumped hard!! Yikes that's not right. The new get has better pay bit still low make them pay a premium since your coming from big 4. Are you a top performer? Get 95k at least that amount. Simone has to make you an honest employee kill and pay you correctly!

like

EY5, might have been a typo, but I think "pumped" still equally applies here.

Reason, is an agency that I worked for for 5+ years cut my rate 1/2 during the pandemic and wants to keep it that way saying broadcast is dead, buyers are a dime a dozen and that $45 is the going rate, meanwhile offering me a $4 mill TV buy at this rate. Salary c$60k plus 10% bonus and recruitment fee for each direct and referral placement you make (which could add c$30k+ to earnings) we have a great selection of company benefits. Is this package attractive? There’s great opportunity for career development and the company is growing so lots of new roles. We are international too!
